Anthony Houle

Anthony Houle is an Alberta boy who is either travelling

the roads taking photographs or farming with his family

near the hamlet of Dapp. His camera is usually within

arms’ reach—one minute he’s taking a photo of a Prairie

sunset, the next it’s of the cowboys at the Canadian

Finals Rodeo.

Doug Walkey

DougWalkey has been executive director of the Alberta

Crop Industry Development Fund (ACIDF) since its incep-

tion in 1997. Prior to joining ACIDF, he held various posi-

tions at Alberta Agriculture and Forestry. He holds degrees

from the University of Alberta, the University of Guelph and

Athabasca University.

Geo Geddes

Geoff Geddes is a freelance agriculture and business

writer based in Edmonton. He does a variety of business

and technical writing and editing for companies, including

website content, blogs and magazine articles. He has a

passion for writing and storytelling, and appreciates the

power of words to influence, educate and inspire.

Lee Hart

Lee Hart is a longtime agricultural writer based in Cal-

gary, who has been covering virtually all aspects of the

Canadian agriculture industry for nearly 30 years. He is

currently a field editor with the Western Canada-based

Grainews

and a regular contributor to

Country Guide

and

Canadian Cattlemen

magazines.

Tavis Coburn

Tavis Coburn has created award-winning work for leading

publishing, advertising and music companies in North

America and Europe. Coburn’s unique style is inspired by

1940s comic book art, the Russian avant-garde move-

ment and printed materials from the 1950s and 1960s. He

calls Toronto home, with his wife and two children.

Kristina Polziehn

Kristina Polziehn holds a

M.Sc

. in plant science from the

University of Alberta and is a professional agrologist and

Certified Crop Adviser. She runs an independent agrono-

my business, Axiom Agronomy Ltd., in northern Alberta.

She also serves as a dealer for AgPixel

, assisting custom-

ers with aerial imagery from UAVs and manned aircra s.
