Dr. Cor Van Raay (LLD ’15), a
leading Canadian cattle producer
and the founder of Cor Van Raay
Farms, donated $5 million to
the University of Lethbridge and
Lethbridge College to establish the
Cor Van Raay Southern Alberta
Agribusiness Program.
Through this joint initiative, the
University is focused on creating
agribusiness educational opportunities
in the areas of agricultural
economics, business development,
entrepreneurship, finance, human
resource management, commodity
and futures trading, and general
management and leadership. The
University has also launched AGILITY,
an innovation and entrepreneurship
program with an initial focus on
agribusiness innovation.
