Aimed at federal and provincial governments, Seeds Canada’s main areas of advocacy are international trade, plant breeders’ rights and plant breeding innovation and investment as well as seed regulatory modernization. Its various programs address areas from midge-tolerant wheat stewardship to seed testing laboratory accreditation and a suspicious seed activity tip line.
